A wide, straight-leg model made from 15oz slub denim with a Seigaiha (wave pattern) design. The Seigaiha pattern—depicting calm, endlessly rolling waves—embodies a wish for peaceful living to endure forever, making it a symbol of good fortune.
This 15oz denim is slowly woven on vintage shuttle looms using a combination of yarns: the warp consists of rope-dyed indigo yarn (equivalent to count #5) with a pronounced slubby texture, while the weft uses a darker indigo yarn (count #8) dyed via a different method.
