A collaboration between Edwin Arthur’s and the independent brand Traditional Outdoor Designs started by Yusuke Sasaki.
The French chore coat is iconic in its function, and this jacket keeps the essentials: three exterior pockets and an interior chest pocket. From there, the fit was adjusted with a slightly longer length, a more generous body, and a subtle A-line shape for ease of wear.
The result feels more like a coverall that takes notes from the chore coat. Using an iconic workwear fabric, left hand cotton twill, it moves easily and drapes naturally as it ages.
