This tenugui (Japanese hand towel) features a distinctive skull design by Toshikazu Nosaka. It is dyed using the Chusen dyeing technique.

Because the threads themselves are dyed, it allows for a beautiful, consistent color on both sides, unlike printing. It's a technique that showcases the skill of the craftsman, resulting in a unique texture and depth of color that differs from printed designs.

- The fabric will soften with washing, and the edges will fray, but the fraying will naturally stop after about 5mm.

- Leaving it wet may cause color transfer to other items.
