Yasujiro Ozu
During his career spanning 35 years from the silent film era to the postwar period, Ozu directed 54 films, including the masterpieces "Late Spring," "Early Summer," and "Tokyo Story," starring Setsuko Hara. Ozu's works, which continued to capture the people and hearts of Japan in his own unique style, continue to inspire viewers, as the saying goes, "What is eternal is always new," and are still supported by many fans both in Japan and abroad.
Yu Nagaba
Illustrator and artist, Yu Nagaba. The portraits of celebrities and others are drawn with stripped-down lines, and while they are very simple, they capture the characteristics of the characters well.
