“Diesel Fueled Defiance” is inspired by women on the forefront of car racing during the civil rights movements of the 60s, when an increasingly virulent sentiment toward women was under way. These women would do whatever it took for the taste of adventure that racing cars brought to their lives.
The Wendy Trouser is a high waisted, rounded shape, inspired by early womens denim fits from the 1950s. This rendition is made in small-batch made selvedge denim, produced in Okayama, Japan.
