SUGAR CANE Super “Denim” Collectibles was launched by bringing together denim specialists.
The model was created in 1943, when the material control of domestic industry in the United States was at its most severe due to the war conditions of World War II, such as extremely rough and uneven denim fabric, military-purpose donut buttons, iron rivets, and all-yellow stitching.
The design has also been simplified, with only four buttons on the front instead of the usual five, and the chest pocket flap has also been omitted.
Perhaps due to a lack of skilled workers, the stitching is very rough, with the height of the box stitches being off on the left and right, the width of the stitching being inconsistent, and the leather patch being placed much lower than usual.
